Last Sabbath, Pastor Gordon Jones’ sermon was entitled “Transmitting Traditions.” Pastor read from Deut. 6:20-23. We as God’s people have been bought out of “Egypt” experiences. We are indebted to God and as parents we are responsible for teaching our children that we are all indebted to Him. Each generation needs to recognize their debt to God. God is part of each and everyone’s family. Some traditions should continue...Bring your children to church. We are to be obedient to God. Without Him we have no protection...We are obligated to obey God. We cannot forget where we came from...Church is an expression of our connection to God.
