Last Sabbath, Pastor Gordon Jones read from 1 Peter 2:4-5. These verses speak about the Chosen Stone and His Chosen People. Pastor stated we need to grow in Christ. He explained that we must grow in the area of sacrifice. God wants to dwell in us and transform us. He wants to reshape us and use us for His glory. He wants to build a spiritual temple within us to dwell in us! He has chosen us to be priests of His temple. He wants to use us to bless the world. He’s going to use me to carry a bless- ing to someone else! Each priest must perform acts of sacrifice, non-atoning sacrifices. These are sacrifices that show gratitude and give honor to God for what He has done for us!
