This week Elder Eric Shepperd preached over Acts 4:31, entitling his sermon “Full of It”. He raised the rhetorical question, “Are you full of it, the Holy Spirit?” If you aren’t, why? Are you afraid of the cost? You may have the silver and gold, but can we say get up and walk? When you’re full of it, amazing things can happen. We need to expect the Holy Spirit, having faith in its power, because the power within you is more powerful than you. He also said we need to exhort, tell somebody about the power of Jesus in an impactful way! We also need to explain, and share our testimony. If you can’t talk about yourself, talk about the people in the Bible. God can work with anyone and transform them to be full of it. People out there need you to be full of it, because the Holy Spirit is not for us but for others, to help us share the news. The disciples shared the word in a secular society and we can too. Tell somebody about what Jesus has already done, the world is already saved! We just need to ask God to fill us up with His spirit, so much that it glows out, revealing God’s power.
